The ANLTC (CONUL Staff Training & Development) seminar “The Librarian as Researcher” will take place in the Library at NUI Maynooth on Thursday 8th May.
Abstracts for papers and posters relating to the theme “The Librarian as
Researcher” are invited. Submissions
should relate to the Librarian as a researcher rather than the Librarian’s role
in supporting research.
Themes might include, but are not restricted to the
following:
Papers/posters
on advanced degree research e.g. PhD
Papers/posters on research resulting in a book, book chapter or chapter in an edited collection
Papers/posters on research resulting in a significant report with implications for the national/international library sector
Papers/posters on research resulting in a peer-reviewed journal article
Papers/posters on research resulting in the development of a new product
Other

Important dates:
Papers & Posters: a 100-word minimum and 300-word maximum abstract by 14th February. The abstract should include details of the research undertaken, the research methodology, the results (where applicable) and the outputs. Abstracts to Helen Fallon

Posters and PowerPoint presentations due 2nd May
Please note ANLTC is not in a position to meet costs
associated with producing posters and attending the seminar
