Eligibility: Entrants must have completed and satisfied examination requirements for a Doctoral award, between 1 September 2011 and 1 October 2014, and have not applied previously for one of these awards.  There are 12 subject categories including library and information categories.

The Emerald Research Awards will covered be on the programme at the “Publishing in Emerald LIS Journals” at NUI Maynooth,  on Monday 9^th June from 10.30 to 12.30.  There are still a few places left for the event, which is free of charge.  Please e-mail me at Helen.b.fallon@nuim.ie if you wish to attend.

Emerald publishes over 20 peer-reviewed library journals including “Aslib Proceedings,” “Journal of Documentation”, “Library Management” and “Library Review.” The workshop is aimed at library staff who wish to write for academic publication and/or further their writing for academic publication.
