Publishing and Peer Reviewing Workshop at Maynooth University Library

On Thursday 29^th October, the Maynooth University (MU) Library and the MU Writing Centre will host a Taylor and Francis Publishing and Peer Reviewing Workshop in the John Paul II Library at Maynooth University.  Taylor and Francis publish a wide range of peer-reviewed journals under the Routledge and Taylor and Francis imprints, including 59 information science titles.  

The workshop will be delivered by a representative from Taylor and Francis.

The provisional timetable is

9.30-10.00 Coffee and Registration

10.00-12.30 How to Get Published in a Taylor & Francis Academic Journal: Increasing your chance of success

12.30 -1.30  Buffet lunch sponsored by Taylor & Francis

1.30-2.30 How to be an effective reviewer for an academic journal 

2.30-3.00 Breakout review exercise (including feedback)

3.00 – 3.30  Questions/Comments/Close
