Quality and the Academic Library: Reviewing, Assessing and Enhancing Service Provision, published by Chandos (an imprint of Elsevier) and edited by Jeremy Atkinson has just been published.
This edited collection:
covers all aspects of quality as it affects the academic library
adopts an approach of critical reflection, with international case study authors reflecting on the success, limitations and impact of their work
includes a wide ranging literature review and a model to be used when consider the quality of services in academic libraries.
My chapter, with Jon Purcell Self and Peer Assessment at Maynooth University Library draws on our 2010 and 2015 reviews.
Jon and I will be speaking on this theme at QQML 2016 in London in late May.
