What and where are Irish librarians publishing - Research findings of O'Brien and Cronin

Terry O'Brien and Kieran Cronin, from Waterford Institute of Technology have carried out a survey of the research output of Irish academic librarians from 21 Irish higher education institutions, between 2000 to 2015. This is the first comprehensive national study of this cohort; it adds value and a new perspective to the existing literature on academic librarians' participation in scholarly endeavours and communication. The article is published in New Review of Academic Librarianship and the authors will speak on the topic at the seminar Academic Librarians Communicating in the 21st Century: Perspectives from the New Review of Academic Librarianship on 20th October at Maynooth University Library.  There is no charge for attending the seminar but booking is essential.  Full programme and booking details.
