Call for conference papers - CILIP Library and Information History Group

The call for papers and lightning talks is now open for the 2017 Annual Conference of CILIP's Library and Information History Group. This year's conference is entitled "The Information Landscape in Scotland: 1600-1900" and will take place on the 1st July 2017 at the University of Dundee, Scotland.

Proposals may be submitted for full papers (45 minutes) or lightning talks (10 minutes) on the following themes:
  • Public access to information in Scotland within the defined period.
  • The publishing, distribution and reception of non-fiction and newspapers / periodicals.
  • Knowledge institutions, including (but not limited to) libraires, universities and intellectual socieities.
  • Any other topic of library and information history in Scotland within the defined period.
Abstracts (300 words) and a short biographical paragraph should be sent to j.s.dye@stir.ac.uk. The closing date for submissions is 15th February 2017.
