LAI/CILIP Joint Annual Conference – call for papers open

The 2019 LAI/CILIP Joint Annual Conference will address the theme of ‘Inclusive Libraries’ and we would like to hear from both members and non-members about the work happening in libraries across Ireland and beyond.

We are inviting members of the Library community from ALL types of libraries to submit proposals for presentations and posters that address any aspect of our theme including, but not limited to:

·         Library design for all

·         Inclusive digital library services

·         Developing Library services and space for all (e.g. students/users with a disability, international students, users from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds)

·         Outreach activities in Libraries (e.g. mobile libraries, working with schools and communities)

·         Research or studies exploring inclusiveness in Libraries

·         Open Access, Open Science, Open Research and Open Data

·         The role of Libraries in society

The deadline for submissions is midnight, Sunday 20^th January 2019.

Notification of whether abstracts have been successful will be sent during the week beginning Monday 4^th February 2019.

Those who have been successful must confirm their acceptance and attendance at the conference no later than 5pm Friday 15^th February 2019.
