Following a number of queries I want to clarify the following:
The ANLTC (CONUL Staff Training & Development) seminar “The Librarian as Researcher” will take place in the Library at NUI Maynooth on Thursday 8th May. It is open to both presenters and delegates internationally. This is not a residential event. Maynooth is 17 miles from Dublin and easily accessible by train; there is a hotel in Maynooth and the University also offers overnight accommodation. ANLTC cannot organise accommodation. Notification of acceptance for presentations/posters is 7th March. A full programme will be posted shortly after that. The fee for attendance at ANLTC events is generally one hundred and twenty euro. The fee is waived for presenters of papers and posters. Papers must relate to the theme of the librarian as a researcher in library and information related areas. ANLTC is not in a position to meet costs associated with producing posters and attending the seminar.
