The NUI Maynooth Writing Centre, in collaboration with NUI Maynooth Library and the Edward M Kennedy Institute are hosting a symposium on the topic

 Programme
 The symposium has three key purposes:  
  • to provide those who participate in the event with the opportunity to discuss how writing can contribute to greater intercultural understanding and empathy;
  • to explore practical instances where this has happened;
  • to consider how best to scaffold further opportunities for this to occur

 12.45 -1.00              Launch of Journal of Mediation & Applied Conflict Analysis – Professor Aidan Mulkeen; Mr Peter Cassells
