The All Ireland Society for Higher Education Journal (AISHE J) offers publishing opportunities to librarians writing about teaching and learning topics. Last year myself and Ellen Breen published an article in this journal on the role of the library in supporting lecturers in their academic writing and found it a very positive experience.
AISHEJ is now open for the submission of work on themes related to teaching and learning in higher education for its next two issues. Unlike the thematic issue, published on 28th February, the June and October issues will be open issues and the editor welcomes submissions on the broad range of themes associated with higher education, including research articles, reports on practice and opinion pieces.
