Development Education Week at Maynooth University Library

As part of DevEd week, we had a YouthMedia team from St. Wolstan's school in Celbridge visit the University Library today (19th November) to report on a development education issue.  This will be part of the showcase on the final day of the DevEd week. The students were reporting on how the University Library preserves and promotes the Ken Saro-Wiwa collection.  The three students met with Sister Majella McCarron who donated the collection to Maynooth University, Anne O'Brien from Kairos, Nicola Kelly, Library Archivist and myself Helen Fallon.  It's great that school children are engaging with development issues and coming into the University to engage with our collections.
