Assessing Library Space for Learning will be published by Rowman & Littlefield. The
edited volume will focus on how users learn in the library space.
The editor is seeking chapters on the following topics:
Library space and diverse users’ needs -
research based articles that report on how specific users learn in the
library (i.e. athletes, Greek life, first-year students, students in a
particular major or class.)
Quiet library space and learning
Library space and routine assessment -
incorporating library space assessment as part of a culture of assessment
Library space and future assessment
Other similar chapter proposals are
welcomed.
To
submit proposals, please submit an abstract of approximately 200 words and
a title for the chapter to Susan Montgomery. Please
include approximate number of figures/graphs/etc., if any, and proposed
length of chapter.
Deadline for proposals is October 10, 2015.
Deadline for accepted chapters to be submitted to the editor would be
October 30, 2016.
