Want to write an article or develop a conference poster? Maynooth University Library Academic Writing Workshop

On Wednesday 7th June 2017, Maynooth University Library will host its annual academic writing workshop. This will be of interest to library staff who wish to write for academic publication and/or create conference/seminar posters.
The morning session, delivered by Helen Fallon, will focus on writing for peer reviewed and professional journals.  The afternoon session, delivered by Laura Connaughton will cover designing posters.

Presenters:  Helen Fallon has published extensively and has presented academic writing programmes in Ireland, UK, USA and Malaysia.  She serves on the editorial board of a number of journals.

Laura Connaughton has presented at national and international conferences and won the 2015 Academic and Special Libraries Conference Poster Competition and the CONUL Conference 2016 Poster Competition

 There is no charge for this event.  Places are limited to 16 and booking is essential. There is a small amount of pre-course work to be undertaken.  It is possible to book one or both sessions.
