The Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) are hosting the Research Data Access and Preservation (RDAP) Summit in Chicago from March 21-23, 2018. Calls for proposals are invited from managers, users, and generators of digital
data from all sectors, including industry, academia, government, and cultural
heritage centres, to present within the sessions described below.
Session topics are as follows:
1.Defining the role of the library in research data management within an institution
2. FAIR vs. Friction
3. Intersection of Publishing and Data
4. Underserved Data Communities: Understanding Access & Preservation Bias
5. Research reproducibility - how data librarians are getting involved
6. Open Call for Proposals
