First Drafts

Colleagues,

I'm suggesting Wendesday 27th May as our next meeting. If that doesn't suit, please send a message to the blog.
If it suits TCD, it would be good if we could have the meeting there. Arlene, ANLTC would pay for lunch, you would have to provide a room.

In addition to inviting the people who attended on Thursday, past participants in the course who have a first draft ready would also be invited. A few usually join. I'm also going to ask past participants if they want to join this blog.

At the end of April i'll send out a blog alert asking people to confirm if they are coming to what we call the peer-feedback session. I'll pair people on the basis of putting people from different institutions together. By mid-May, "writing buddies" should have exchanged drafts and on the day they come along and give each other feedback. We also all work together as a group in moving our writing along, but it is less formal that last Thursday's session.
