Poster Competition.
We are launching a poster competition for this year’s Irish National and University Libraries (INULS) Conference, June 23rd to 24th, Trinity College Dublin. The competition is open to all staff from INULS affiliate Libraries. Prizes will be awarded and a judging panel will be approved at the March meeting of the National INULS Committee.
Themes which might be considered by entrants could be from the following:
· From Recession to Recovery: Library Staff Leading the Way
· Changing work practices in Academic Libraries
· Family Friendly policies in working libraries
· Libraries 2020: A New Vision
· An Gaeilge ins an Leabharlann sa Cholaiste
· Multicultural Libraries
· Libraries without staff
There is no restriction on size and the above themes are indicative and not exhaustive.
The closing date for entries is May 31st. Final details to be agreed. It would be helpful if INULS affiliates could indicate how many works are in progress in each institution by the end of April. It is anticipated that the entries will be exhibited during the Conference.
