Why I recommend Librarians do Doctoral Research.

This is the third most popular post on my blog since I started it seven years ago, with 2,300 hits.  It was written by Dr Mary Delaney, Librarian at IT Carlow.

It's timely to recirculate it with the date for the UCD iSchool PhD scholarship applications  closing next week (May 15th).  It's a really well written, motivating piece.  You can hear Mary, Jane Burns and Ciara McCaffrey give their insights on developing research skills, extending our community of practice and engaging in academic publishing at the CONUL conference later this month.
