Professional writing: lessons learned from 30 + years as an author and 12 years as a peer reviewed journal editor

This keynote address will be based around Graham’s reflections on academic writing and being an Editor of a peer reviewed journal. I will take 5 papers I have published between 1982 and 2017 and explore what I learned about academic writing from each publication. I will also explore my strategic approaches taken as Editor of the New Review of Academic Librarianship and how these strategies have made a difference to the success of the journal,
